I've decided to start my new year with some running shoes. I wanted a popular type shoe that was light weight and inexpensive. I know the best running shoes can be costly but I'm not ready to spend that much money yet. I tried on some Nike Flex Trainers and didn't care for them. The store manage mentioned the Asics Gel as being the most popular. I liked the feel just after trying them on. I went ahead and purchased them. It was a very quick shopping experience. I can't wait to break them in. My first race of the year is the Shamrock Shuffle downtown. It's a 3K race which is great to start off the year. I hope to beat my time.
